ET in the USA

Welcome to the Equine Touch Foundation modalities in the USA and Canada

My name is Raian Kaiser and I’m proud to be an Instructor for Jock and Ivana Ruddock.

Whether you are interested in learning how to help your horses, dogs, other animals, or friends and members of your own family, you’ve come to the right place.

I began my journey with Jock and Ivana in 2002, quite by accident. A friend asked whether I’d be interested in attending a clinic near her place on the East Coast. Though I was skeptical (the bodywork methods I’d been using for two decades up until then had been very successful for me), I agreed. Waltzing into that Level 1 Equine Touch clinic, as a very experienced equine and canine and human bodyworker, I thought I was going learn and master this new method very quickly and easily.

The philosophy behind Equine Touch, as presented by Jock and Ivana, was very familiar to me: work in harmony, with respect for each horse as an individual. Develop trust in your hands before doing anything else. However, the work itself was very different from anything I knew or had experienced before. I struggled to figure it out, amazed at how the horses responded to it even with my confusion and bumbling attempts to do the work.

I found that ET is very simple, but not easy (something every Level 1 student experiences!). The biggest stumbling block was my own ego: why couldn’t I master this new technique right now, especially given all the experience I had with using my hands to help and teach animals?

It would have been easy to quit, but after seeing the horses respond, and feeling the magic of the Equine Touch Move on myself when Jock worked on each of us at that Level 1 clinic, I was hooked.

I went home determined to figure out this Equine Touch.

My horses are very glad I stuck with it.

Spend time learning this technique, and you too will see and feel the benefits.

Have fun browsing these pages. I hope to see you at a clinic soon. Meanwhile, please let me know if you have any questions about Equine Touch, Canine Touch, Vibromuscular Harmonization Technique, hosting your own clinic, or anything else you want to chat about. I’m only an e-mail away:
