Hi' Y'all from Texas
Here they are, the new Regional Instructors from all over the USA, UK, Scandanavia and way down south in New Zealand. We even had one from Scotland, so at last I have one person at least who understands me when I start muttering away in my mother tongue. The year ahead for these ten will be a testing time for all these new teachers so we ask everyone to give them their full support. The training they have put in has been intensive and they have a challenging road ahead of them as they take ET into areas where it is virtually unknown and where many people still have not been enlightened to the fact that just as the two legged athletes require bodywork so do horses, in fact more so.
Everything is not bigger in Texas!
This was a wee beauty we had on our Level 3 clinic in San Marcos. Small as she was she adored the work. We thought of taking her to Europe with her next weekend and buying a sportscar to take her for a drive with us.
Probably one of the prettiest and best natured minatures we have run across for a long long time. She loved the work and followed the students around like a puppy dog.
Perhaps Everything is bigger in Texas!
Take a look at this 'willy' bean that we pulled out of one of the geldings at the clinic. We had noticed that on the Level 3 clinic Amaretto had not dropped and what was showing looked rather swollen but he would not allow anyone to touch it, immediately lining up Ivana and anyone who tried with a well aimed cow kick. Instructor clinic, enter Janis Clyma from New Zealand. No problem, but even she was rather dumbfounded at the size of the bean she fished out while doing a Maori Haka to avoid the flying hooves. These (once one) are a couple of beauties. This is actual size ... believe it or not. This is worth a prize. Let's see who can come up with the biggest 'willy bean' over the next 12 months.
National Conference in UK.
Ivana and I are looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible at UK National Conference on Saturday and Sunday, June 14th and 15th. Check the IETA newsletter. Great news: it is not exclusive to Equine Touch Practitioners, it is open to everybody. They are even going to let me in, and who knows I may even be allowed to speak. Look forward to catching up and talking story.
Sorry that this is all to chat about at this time. We are getting ready to leave for the UK and Europe, and have to shift out of our fabulous wee cottage, pack everything away into storage, before heading off for New York. If planes are still flying and we can afford the air fares.
Will get another one out as soon as I can, must tell you all about the Bio Scan that I have been using on my old ring injuries, absolutely amazing, so will give you some news on these in the next issue. Till then keep touchin'.
Aloha, Jock

JOCK AND IVANA TO ATTEND THE IETA AND ETF CONFERENCE IN THE UK We are proud to announce that the dates have been confirmed as Saturday and Sunday 14th and 15th of June. Jock and Ivana have taken time out of their schedule to attend and be guest speakers and demonstrators at this first truly national gathering, where Instructors, students, practitioners, members of IETA and non members alike are invited to attend for the ongoing benifit of the horse. With regulation accreditation and the explosion of Equine Touch throughout the world this is a conference that should not be missed and it is hoped that we shall also see practitioners from Europe dropping in to let us know not only what is happening in their part of the world but where they would like to see IETA and the Equine Touch go to in the future. WATCH THIS SPACE. |
