Aloha, We had a great week in Pennsylvania with Randi Peters of Natural Horse magazine and Cate Stoltzfus our host before heading off to Dassel in MN for a busy few days with Colette Bolster our instructor there. A great level 4 was followed by a really interesting Prescription and Layering clinic and topped off with the IETA - AGM. Hoppy Stearns dropped in to take both clinics, taking time out from her busy ET practice which sees her traveling all across the country. Hoppy attended the first ever Equine Touch clinic held in the USA way back in 2000 which ultimately changed her life and that of many many horses. She tried out the new Family and Friends and left raving about it! Talking about horses I got time when I was in PA to hang out with my new quarter horse' Lady', but alas it may be some time before I can take her to New Zealand to hang out with Jovana at our new home on top of Mount Tiger outside Whangarei. Tomorrow I head for Colorado to catch up with Raian Kaiser for another Level 4 and a Layering and Prescription clinic, before heading to warmer climates to meet up with Ivana at our little cottage outside San Marcos. We are looking forward to catching up with all our old friends there as well hopefully spending some time with Linda Yoxall who is moving with her family to Houston from Perth, Western Australia and who tells me she is looking forward to having her first quarter horse. Talking about Texas, don't forget we are holding a full symposium there; Levels 1, 2, and 3 at the Whole Horse Clinic starting 22 through to the 25th. For those of you who want to learn more Human work and have one day to spare, try to catch the clinic below. This will be the only one I will be teaching in the USA this year so think about it, and get in touch if you want to come along.

As I have one Saturday free before we head down under and as result of requests I will be holding a one day human clinic in San Marcos on Saturday 31st of October. 9am - 4pm. VHT for Family and Friends is a whole new concept that I have developed over the past two years. It allows a practitioner to perform a complete holistic address on a client, or friend in as little as 5 minutes. This clinic will be taught to ET students who have completed at least a Level 1 ET clinic and are competent in the ET move. The first ever Family and Friends clinic was taught in the UK late last month and the feedback has been extremely positive . The system works excellently on its own as a total identity but also in conjunction with the full VHT and the individual human procedures that you have learned in ET. Quick, and effective, Family and Friends will give you another powerful tool in your fight against pain. Ideal to balance and release compromised muscles from top to toe Family and Friends is without a doubt the most simple soft tissue bodywork address ever developed. The cost of the Clinic is $185. Each student will be supplied with a full professional yet user friendly manual to help them practice the discipline at home. If you would like to attend please contact and book on at: equinetouchinc@aol.com or the Whole Horse clinic at: luanngroves@yahoo.com |
| The countdown is on for the launching of IETA in Australia. Be in at the start of the groundbreaking event in Australia. Contact the IETA committee and give them your full support they are doing a great job on your behalf and need still need a few dedicated committee members e mail: ietaaustralia@gmail.com | |
| Our life is changing, at last. Over the last few years we have introduced instructors into ET to take some of the load from our shoulders so that the we could slow down the endless roundabout we were on. Now with this program up and running we can start to stay in one place and have a home base for more than a few weeks a year. So as from November this year we will be spending up to seven months a year in the Southern Hemisphere in our new home in New Zealand. However we have no intention of sitting idle during this time and will teach, ET and VHT in New Zealand and Australia whenever required. With that in mind we are searching for hosts and coordinators down under for all levels where no Instructor exists. If any of you or your friends are interested in becoming an ANZET (Australia and New Zealand ET) Coordinator or a Host, for a course in human or equine with us then please contact us at: equinetouchinc@aol.com | |
On a closing note: The Level 4 followed by the Layering and Prescription went over with a bang. Even if it was freezing (as you can see from the photo, the earliest snow storm for 24 years) the clinic was full and the feedback was excellent, by the time the clinic was over everyone had a totally new perspective on ET and it was great to watch them working in teams, working on problems. Once again I apologies for not being able to get around to answering questions or instructor profiles in this edition. On the road and teaching every day tends to run away with the minutes never mind the hours. Hopefully over the next few weeks I will get a few days off to do something more than send out promos. Till then keep touching. Jock |
