MASTER CLASSES WITH JOCK  - ET & BEYOND - PRESCRIPTION AND LAYERING - ADVANCED MASTER CLASS.

EQUINE TOUCH AND BEYOND - 3 Days

Equine Touch and Beyond or Level 4, as it has become known as, is the most exciting development since Level 3 for practitioners evolved back in 2002. Equine Touch is a developing modality where positive evolution is encouraged allowing the discipline to grow for the benefit of the horse.

Three days of 'thinking equine bodywork, outside the box' is what it has been described as. The students spend the while time with Jock himself, working on horses with problems in the morning and then taking the new procedures that they will be introduced to and practicing on their subject horses in the afternoon. On this clinic the students are made to think like professional practitioners, observing, and analyzing before applying ET to the animal.

The student/practitioner is introduced to 40 new procedures which have been developed not only by Jock and Ivana, but by respected Equine Bodyworkers throughout the world. They are also encouraged to think as individuals, to decide where, when, and how to use these new procedures for the benefit of the horse, as well as where when and how to use them in conjunction with the moves from Levels 1, 2, 3.

Apart from being thoroughly assessed by Jock himself, and introduced to the all new concept of Equine Bodywork Horsemanship©, the student will learn :

PRESCRIPTION AND LAYERING - 1 DAY

This one day master clinic with Jock is designed for students and practitioners who have completed ET and Beyond.  Unlike previous clinics and seminars P&L is not about learning new moves and is totally focused on the practitioner making the correct assessment on the horse from the position of a soft tissue equine bodyworker and a professional Equine Touch Practitioner. Working in a team situation and presented with horses with genuine problems the attendees will discuss, debate and prepare prescriptions - that is, deciding on what procedures to use, in what order - and then to present them in a flow to the horse.  The student will also be introduced to using practical Kinesiology to back up their assessments of points of concern. The student will be required to verbalize to the owner that which they have found, that which they are doing, and any changes which can be immediately noticed by the owner on the horse. This professional master class is restricted in numbers to allow for maximum benefit for the students.

ADVANCED MASTER CLASS - 1 DAY

This one day clinic is totally new - the procedures and approaches are as result of Jock working on horses for 15 years and his awareness of  what he now refers to as the 'first line of resistance', where the information is sought from the horse relating to the first sign of fascia compromise.  This is a technique that 'evolved' as a result of asking the horse to reveal to the practitioner where the problem starts not where it finally ends up.  After watching the range of movement (ROM) techniques used by chiropractors, osteopaths, physios and some equine massage practitioners, Jock came to the conclusion that for Equine Touch Practitioners something was missing. This missing factor is what he refers to as the 'first line of resistance' where the horse actually presents to the integrity of the hands of the practitioner the initial and all so important message which more often than not is missed, or by-passed as the practitioner bulldozes through to egoistically find the maximum ROM and work on that. Also on this clinic students will also learn the all new developed 'spinal release approach' where the spine is addressed holistically using various procedures in a unique prescription to assist the horse in mobilizing its own spine.  The final procedures taught  in this clinic will relate to a three leg balancing release which has an amazing effect on hind end problems which may have been resistant to simpler techniques.
